We’ve taken our 20+ years of experience hosting summer theatre programs, our costume creation savvy, and hands-on building expertise and woven them into something entirely new and completely magical.
This summer, we are facilitating adventures in creative play with your unique and brilliant kiddos in mind. Our curriculum provides transformative experiences to help your students dive even more deeply into their own imaginal realms alongside a dynamic cast of creative peers and mentors.
The.Re.Imaginaries camps consist of 5 days of immersive, guided exploration in our backyard theater/maker space. We’re offering 5 sessions of camp, so choose what works best for you.
Each session is limited to 16 campers so there is ample focus and attention for each young creator. Every day is designed to be overflowing with inspiration — to spill out long past our in-person time together, engaging your child’s imagination and play through prompts and activities and ample opportunities for making.
Creative Play Adventure Camps
Calling all young adventurers! In each Creative Play Adventure camp, we’ll spend the week developing characters, coming up with exciting challenges, collaborating on creative solutions, making props and costume pieces, and establishing new imaginary worlds to play in. Our week will culminate in a celebratory showcase curated by the campers.
We’ll be exploring relationship-building, emotional expression, theatre exercises, hands-on making, and lots of creative play! Each camper will be provided with all of the tools, materials, and inspiration needed to create their own characters, costumes, props, and plays!
Days 1+2: Character + World creation
Days 3+4: Setting out on the quest, adventuring, role-playing, overcoming challenges, achieving missions
Day 5: Culminating showcase celebration

TIMES: Each camp will run from 9-2, Monday through Friday. We will be taking a walk to Fernhill Park each day for lunch from 11:00-12:00.

A note about our masking policy
We have always set out to be an all-inclusive space, and to provide opportunities for those who may be unable to participate in these experiences otherwise. Because this is the case, we will still be requiring masks for some of our summer camps.
We want to continue to be a place where immuno-compromised youth can still enjoy a vibrant community experience, while simultaneously establishing a space where community care is inherently a part of the curriculum.
Even if your child hasn’t been masking recently, we are excited to encourage them to join us in this practice of looking out for everyone in our community.
We will share plenty of times where students can take mask breaks, and we will host a lunch break each day where students will be eating on their own individual blankets at the park.
